Upon
your arrival, you will be met in Istanbul Ataturk airport,
the only city which straddles two continents Europe and Asia.
A short orientation tour and transfer to the hotel and welcome
drink while you have briefing. The remaining of the day is
at your leisure. |

2-ISTANBUL |

A
full day of sightseeing tour. Discover the Byzantian and Ottoman
Relics, visit Saint Sophia Museum, one of the world s greatest
architectural marvels, built by Constantine the Great in the
4th Century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century
then visit Sultanahmet Mosque, built in the 16th century,
unique with 6 minarets and its magnificent interior decoration
of the blue Iznik tiles. The Ancient Hippodrome, the scene
of chariot races with three monuments, the obelisk of Theodosius,
the bronze Serpentine column and the column of Constantine.
Before lunch visit the Grand covered bazaar within over 4000
tiny shops.
Visit Royal Topkapi palace, the great palace of the Ottoman
Sultan s from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Then visit Suleymaniye
Mosque, built in 1550 by the famous architect Sinan, emphasized
by the four minarets rising one from each corner of the courtyard.
You ll be returned back to your hotel in the early evening.

3-ISTANBUL |

Early
in the morning a half day tour to Boshporus and Asia. Visit
the Egyptian spice market and then embark on a boat along
the waterway seperating Europe and Asia. Passing the magnificent
Dolmabahce palace under the bosphorus bridge, villas, fortress
and small fishing villages. Then visit the Rumeli fortress;
Built by Mehmet in 1452 prior to the conquest of Istanbul,
one of the most beautiful works of millitary architecture.
Return to hotel for leisure at around 13:00pm. You can extend
your half day tour to a full day tour.(Optional:After lunch
in a local seafood restaurant across the boshporus bridge
visit Summer residance of the Ottoman Sultan with its Harem
on the Asian side.Then see the panoramic view of the Istanbul
and boshporus from the Camlıca hill the hights point
of the Istanbul. You ll be returned back to hotel in the early
evening) |
